At our personal training fitness studio we customize plan for all fitness levels.

How do I know what program is right for me?

We can make recommendations based on your current fitness level and your goals.

What if I refer a friend or family member?

The highest compliment you can give us is a referral to your family and friends.  When you refer a friend or family member who joins Active Wellness you get 1 FREE Personal Training Session!  Yes, that was easy!

What do I bring to my sessions?

Personal Training Clients: a yoga mat, water bottle and towel. (Available for sale at our retail boutique.)

What do I wear?

We suggest wearing fitness clothing that is comfortable, fitted but non-binding and breathable.  Dri-wic clothing keeps conditions sanitary by allowing perspiration to evaporate, it also helps you regulate your temperature.  In addition, let us know if you need recommendations!

Dress code:  To maintain a professional, comfortable, all ages environment, please wear fully covered appropriate workout attire including:  sports bra (women), shirt that covers chest and abdomen area (sleeveless or short sleeve), exercise pants or shorts (if wearing shorts, please keep them about knee length or longer) and running sneakers.  Layers are also suggested.

During rainy or snowy weather, please bring inside sneakers.

What happens if I miss a session?

We understand that life happens from time to time and clients need to re-schedule.  To qualify for an excused absence we require 24 hours notice or more by e-mailing ActiveWellnessWorks@gmail.com. 

We live in New England, what if it snows?

In the case of an impending snow, please periodically check your e-mail (including your spam box) for cancellations up to 30 minutes before your session.  If you are still unsure, feel free to e-mail us or give us a call at 800.707.9580.

Additional Policies:  Unless other arrangements are made, Fitness/ Coaching sessions and Program design explanations (these services herein individual and collectively referred to as “sessions”) last approximately 25-55 minutes. In order to provide the best service to all Clients, Active Wellness LLC cannot commit to extending any particular session beyond its previously scheduled time.

Rates for services are subject to change.  Services prepaid for by client which are unused at the time of any rate change will be honored at the price already paid.  Time slots are available on a “first come, first serve” basis by appointment.  Sessions must be paid for in advance.

Active Wellness LLC is not responsible for items damaged, lost or stolen.  Hence, please take your belongings with you daily.

Clients have the right to terminate a particular exercise or workout at anytime. If an exercise is uncomfortable or painful, or if you want to stop for any other reason, you may do so. If an exercise is painful for you or you have an injury or other limitation that makes it difficult for you to do, your trainer can attempt to substitute another exercise to work that particular muscle group.

Results will vary by individual.  Active Wellness LLC cannot guarantee specific results.  Client acknowledges that client is responsible for their decisions.   regarding whether or not to exercise consistently, eat properly, rest enough and live a healthy lifestyle.

Finally, clients are required to observe all rules of the facility.  We reserve the right to change or adopt new policies, as we feel necessary for the proper management of the facility.

All sales are final.  All sessions expire 30 days from the conclusion of package.  No transfer of sessions.
